I know that this collection came out back in February, but I have to admit that the olsen twins have been a guilty pleasure for me and my style file. Mary-Kate and Ashley’s 3 year old label, “The Row” is a dream come true for the minimalistic fashion lovers out there and this Fall we have a lot of simple pieces to look forward to. This particular collection was inspired by German artist Beatrix Ost who is an amazing artist who has a whole lot of style (if you don’t know of her I suggest you look her up). Check out the video The Row Fall Winter 2010 Collection at NYFW after the break. More

I’d like a slice of the ribs and the rack please. A cute and funny dress that is lightweight made by apparel designer Kelly of Providence, Rhode Island. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2006 with a BA in Apparel Design.
The dresses are printed and sewn to order so they say to allow 3-7 business days for your dress to be made if you plan on ordering one.

It’s difficult finding a wallet that matches your personality. You could spend hours looking for the right one inside shops or online. A wallet is your holy grail. It carries your plastic, your cash, your identification, and important numbers you get at the local bar. It’s a bit of an exaggeration, but REALLY, a wallet holds your money. And money is something you use on a daily basis. More

Chloë Sevigny is modeling for her upcoming Pre-Spring 2011 designs for Opening Ceremony and I think I’ve fallen in love, again. The collection has a good balance between girly vintage and sexy rocker. More

The weather seems to not know what season it is though the collared shirt can become your best friend. Hot one minute and cold the next. So, a timeless plain and collared shirt should be your go to piece when dressing yourself in the morning. Comfortably easy! Just remember, it’s always better to tuck it in and maybe pop your collar.

Band of Outsiders Menswear Fall 2010

Ohio born designer Scott Sternberg created Los Angeles brand Band of Outsiders in 2004. Sternberg sure came a long way! Before becoming a designer he had a career as an agent at CAA (Creative Arts Agency), then realized that wasn’t the life for him and recruited himself as a talented designer. What I love about this line is that everything is so tailored and tight, which personally, I think is a good thing when good looking male models are strutting in them. Something about the “I’m American, but I’ve been to France” look (“Classic Americana Meets French New Wave”), which I think is the style of a well dressed man! Sternberg’s line is compiled of corduroy suits, navy blazers, neutral plaid pants, fitted blue tux shirts, shrunken button ups, wool penny loafers, and black and white saddle shoes. So, button ups and bow-ties should be a man’s best friend this Fall and don’t forget your penny loafers (bow-tie optional for the Chuck Bass wannabes out there)!
