Slow Motion Video allows humans to see things we normally could never see with the naked eye or even a standard video camera. Tempus II was shot using a Photron High-speed Camera which can record at up to 2,000 frames per second at HD 1080 resolution! Tempus II was directed and produced by Philip Heron and James Adair.
This solid wood Rubber Band Gatling gun shoots out 504 shots at 1200 RPM! It is run by a tiny motor and is powered by 4 AA batteries that is triggered by a switch. This awesome creation won the Technique-Prize of 20th HANDS GRANPLIX which is a famous contest of hand-works, sponsored by Tokyu Hands. Check out the video after the break. More
Saskia Edens was born in Geneva and now lives and works in Basel, Switzerland. The installations and the video are very powerful. Edens transforms her very own body into a skeleton with black varnish, lighting, and hypnotic music. The video after the break will make you uncomfortable at times, yet your eyes will still be glued to the screen. More
The waterbird weighs only 12kgs and takes less than 10 minutes to assemble and can be disassembled to store in a carry bag to take around with you or to leave in storage. What is it? It’s a self-powered water rider that can be propelled at up to 27 km/h by hopping. The hopping motion propels the underwater wings almost like wings flapping underwater.

Some kids in Utah pull a girl with their Human Slingshot using an ATV as far as they possibly can and release her launched into the air.
Daft Punk Helmet by Graphic Designer Harrison Krix based out of Atlanta. Krix has put together a collection of photos taken over the span of 17 months showing the process of this cool helmet. The helmet was made by sculpting, resin casting, chroming, and vacuum forming. You can check out the whole process in more detail at his blog.

Grab your skateboard, an oversized blue tarp, and an extra buddy to help and there you go, you have “Tarp Surfing.” Using a tarp one guy holds one corner of the tarp and lifts and pulls the corner to simulate a wave while the skateboarder rides underneath. The result is really cool and pretty amazing.
